FAQ's

What is Nutritional Therapy?
Nutritional Therapy is a bio-individual, root-cause approach to health that uses food, lifestyle, and foundational support to bring the body back into balance. Rather than focusing only on symptoms, we look at digestion, blood sugar, hormones, minerals, stress, sleep, and more to understand the whole picture of your health.

How do I know if this is right for me?
If you’re feeling stuck in cycles of fatigue, bloating, skin issues, mood swings, disordered eating, or just feeling off in your body — and you’re ready to look deeper — this work is likely a great fit. It’s especially supportive if you’ve been told “everything looks normal” but know deep down something isn’t right.

Do you offer virtual sessions?
Yes! All sessions are currently held virtually so you can receive support from anywhere.

What happens in a session?
We start with a deep-dive intake process that covers your symptoms, history, food patterns, and lifestyle. In our sessions, we review this together, identify your top areas of imbalance, and co-create a plan that includes nutritional changes, supportive habits, and (if appropriate) targeted supplements.

Will I get a meal plan?
Rather than rigid meal plans, I provide customized food and lifestyle recommendations that are flexible, supportive, and realistic for your daily life. My goal is to help you understand why certain foods or patterns support your body — so you can build habits that last.

Is this the same as working with a dietitian?
Nutritional Therapy is different from conventional dietetics. As an NTP, I don’t diagnose or treat disease — I work with the body’s foundations (like digestion, blood sugar, mineral balance, and stress) to support healing at the root. It's a functional, whole-person approach that complements other forms of care beautifully.

What if I’ve struggled with disordered eating?
You’re not alone — and yes, this work can absolutely support you. My approach is rooted in nourishment, not restriction. We focus on what your body needs to feel safe, supported, and balanced — and rebuild that trust slowly and compassionately.
